Rosa's Fatigue Story

00:00

Hey there, Evan Hirsch here. Welcome back to another episode of the EnergyMD Podcast, where we help you resolve your chronic fatigue, long COVID and MCAS by finding and fixing the real root causes of your symptoms, a combination of heavy metals, chemicals, molds, infections, and trauma, what I call the toxic five. So really excited about today's episode, because today we're going to be speaking with a participant.

00:29

in our program and we're going to hear how they resolve their fatigue and other symptoms. So sit right back and let's jump into it. Hello Rosa. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on how the program went for you today. You're welcome. So when you came to see us Rosa, what were the symptoms that you had? Oh my gosh, multiple symptoms. I was all over having a really hard time.

00:59

Uh, yes, I couldn't function well. And you had, you had low energy? Four. It was like a four out of 10? Yeah. And what is your energy now? Seven. That's good. Three hundred and eight. Nice. And you had other symptoms too. You had, um, you had a lot of mast cell. Yeah. I have a lot of, um, food allergies, um,

01:29

supplement allergies, all kinds of allergies to medicine, environmental, chemical sensitivity, all those things I have at. And those have kind of come and gone throughout the program. Have they improved since you've been? Yes, like the food, I'm much better. I'm eating more variety of food and they don't give me that cramping or stomach ache or diarrhea.

01:59

And then I found out through H1 blocker that I can go out and then have fun. But I have to take the H1 blocker. I didn't want it, but I figured out that I have to do it. Accepting the reality. What other scenes? The medicine?

02:26

Yeah, medicine is being taught, but then today I'm taking a bunch of supplements. I can do herbs too. Excellent. Yeah, you've done very well. And then you've done the nervous system retraining. You've kind of gone deep into that. You added in the Primal Trust. How has that been for you? I think that that's changed my life.

02:54

change my life, to finding out things that I have to work out in myself, spiritual, But the Ayahuasca Open showed me how I was thinking that it helped me to improve. I have to believe in myself and feel safe in this beautiful body that God gave me. Then...

03:21

I think that that is amazing. I'd be grateful, grateful for everything. Even the days that I'm sick, I'm grateful because I know that I'm alive. And then tomorrow is going to be a better day. Excellent. That's such important work. saw other work you did. That I think that is something that even if you don't believe it, do it. Because it's the thing that I think that changed the way that I'm seeing life today, the way that I'm thinking, thinking in positive.

03:51

changed my life. Yeah, you're a different person now than you were when you first started the program. Exactly. Yeah, and today we were talking about how your relationships are changing because of that. You have to tell people, you know, I'm a different person now, right? Yeah, yeah, I'm a different Rosa. The Rosa that I, when I joined the program, the Rosa doesn't exist anymore. It's a better Rosa. Yeah, definitely a better Rosa.

04:17

And so, and, how long did it take for you? You know, you were doing the nervous system retraining every day, every couple of days. How long did it take until you saw a benefit?

04:28

It's so hard to say because it's like, like you explain about hell. Like, um, it's, it's, it's slow and in my case, and then suddenly I start to see, see myself doing more scenes. I cannot answer that part because the truth is that suddenly it's no linear thing. Right.

05:02

Being in the second year of the program is when I start to see the change and that I was eating better, that I have decided to do good scenes, new scenes. Yeah. Maybe the second year. Yeah. And I think, and my point in asking that question is that it's not overnight, right? You have to, put in the time and then all of a sudden the light comes on and things start to work.

05:32

Exactly. Like I remember, I don't know if you allow me to tell you this, but at the beginning I couldn't be in the sauna. And I have a beautiful sauna. Then I couldn't smell inside the wood. That smell was so overpowered. And then you told me, no worries. In the future, are going to be able that will pass. Well, it will pass. I can be in the sauna today.

06:00

No, like 30 minutes or no times. I believe in my body and 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 105, 110 degrees. And then I start little by little telling my body we are safe. We are safe. We are safe. And this is something we must say. I found out that we have to be so compassionate and just treat your body. Let it know that

06:27

It's like the body doesn't feel safe. Then that's why with the medication, it started slow. With everything that must sell, in my opinion, I'm not a doctor. I think that this is the huge piece. Tell your body with little things, slow, slow, little by little, like you are raising a child.

06:56

is that I found out with myself. This is the way I treat myself. So important. Yeah. The, the mindset and the emotional work, the nervous system retraining. So is there, what are some of the things that you can do now that you couldn't do before? Well, I'm doing more exercise. You're going dancing. I just talk, but I'm coming back. I'm coming back.

07:25

I didn't stop for me. I stopped because my husband had a surgery. and then he's my partner, my dance partner. But I can walk. And this is another thing that I found out. Because I feel better, I start to jump and walk like 45 minutes. That doesn't work like this. I start to do like five minutes.

07:50

Then 10 minutes, then 15 minutes, and then I'm in the 15 minutes. But little by little. And with the exercise, I did the same. The same way I'm taking the supplements, I'm taking the herbs, everything I'm doing with the exercise. I do few repetitions because I know that in the follow week, I can add one. Because I can ask my body that being for a long time.

08:20

sick to us like I have to run in Marató.

08:27

And that's major tool that you learned in the program was to ask your body using the sway testing, right? Yes. And listen me because if I ask too much, then I pay for weeks. I pay for weeks that I then I don't want to do anything. Why do that to myself? And I learned that everything with me has to be slow and steady.

08:54

And was it hard to be patient? It was hard. couldn't hear. Was it hard to be patient because it was slow and steady? Yes, it was so straight. Yeah. So what did you tell yourself when you were having a hard time with patients? I said, remember how you feel before when you did everything really fast? Did you feel really sick then? Be patient because you're going to get sick if you do it.

09:25

Yeah, I talk to myself in that way. You need to be careful and be patient and love yourself. then, yeah, with the program, I think that I learned to love myself. Oh, Just in the way that I am.

09:45

Yeah. And so what do we do well here at the program? Me, Mickey, my team, what do you think we do well? I think that all of you do different things. But I think it's the support. The support that you have the patience to be there for us when we need you the most. And then the community.

10:14

It's amazing because we can have, you are there for us when we have a question. This is, I think that this is amazing. And being with other patients is really good too because then they interact with us and we find out that this is supportive too. But you are amazing because you have an answer. You don't know, you search for that and then you are there. I don't feel.

10:42

I didn't feel lonely all this time. feel like I have somebody that is holding my hand and everything's going to be fine. With Mickey, Mickey's an amazing coach too. She's the one that wake me up with with the supplements and everything is okay, but you need to practice meditation.

11:06

If you don't practice meditation, you can take a thousand supplements. And then she gave me all the time, telling me things that wake me up. Amazing. And Stacey, your wife, she's just amazing when she does the meditation. She's so peaceful. And then she just...

11:34

Tell me how to get in touch with part of, for every part of my body and really love me in the way that I am. And just hold that pain and then yeah, it's just compassion. Kindness. Excellent. And you know, we're always looking to get better. Do you have any feedback for us on things that we can improve?

12:03

What can we improve? What could be better?

12:09

I know. I think that you're doing great. So you felt like you had a plan and that you were able to implement that plan and we were there to support you along the way. Is that accurate? Yeah, support the support, the kindness, the compassion. Be there when we need that. We don't have that outside of. I think that in any place, because I've been in different programs and I never have that.

12:40

sense of community, the sense that you can, yeah, you can, you listen in, you care. And then I think that we feel love and we don't feel isolated. You are like a family. Yeah. That's why I don't know what you can improve. don't know. I think that, and then you, all the time you're searching, research and studying and then try to be.

13:10

to have knowledge for us. You are doing the tough job for us. Well, I don't have to implement, you know, but yes, I am here for you. I'm glad that you felt that as you were moving through the program. Yeah, the compassion, this is something that we need that we don't find outside. And then I think that everything, everything together is what I think that made me feel better today.

13:39

that I can hear other people, I can see that they see me with compassion, with love, kindness, and all of you, you are like this and there. I'm being blessed that I found you. Thank you Rosa. I'm blessed that you chose to work with us. Thank you. And so last question is, for people who are struggling with long COVID and chronic fatigue syndrome,

14:07

Do you have a message of hope for them?

14:11

Well, believe in yourself and you'll think, and this is something that my husband tells me every day, it will pass.

14:24

Believing that it will pass, believe that you're going to get better, that your body is really strong. And then we don't believe it. But your body wants to be alive.

14:40

Yes, and to be alive. And when he's telling you that he's aching, it's because once you stop and take care. Take care of the body. Then just patience, love, and follow what Dr. Evan told you, the program tells you.

15:03

is that I can say. Unbelieve.

15:09

you live.

15:12

It's not being easy. Yeah. It's not being easy, but yeah. Yeah. Has it been worth it? Because it's not cheap to get better, right? It takes a lot of time, takes a lot of work. Has it been worth it? Completely, because like we were talking, I spend 24 hours with me every single day. Then it's good to feel good.

15:44

good to feel good. Yeah. Then why? Why? I want to think that it's better to be spending time outside and then feel really bad that I'm, I write it to work with myself and you spend 24 hours looking myself in myself because I know that this is going to, because I want to be okay. When I go out, I want to be, and you want to enjoy life, not to be miserable.

16:14

This is the way that I think that we have to invest in ourselves. And then it's hard, it's a lot of tears, it's a lot of emotion, but never give up.

16:33
