Clear Trauma and Rewire the Brain for Energy with Louise Swartswalter, ND
00:00
Hey everybody, welcome back to the EnergyMD Podcast where we help you resolve your long COVID and chronic fatigue syndrome naturally so that you can get back to living your best life. So really excited because today we're gonna be talking with my friend, Dr. Louise Swartswalter, and we're gonna be talking about things beyond the physical. So if you've heard me speak before, you've heard me talk about the toxic five, the heavy metals, chemicals, molds, infections, and nervous system dysfunction, all of which are really important, but nervous system dysfunction,
00:33
emotional, spiritual, energetic components to all of this, we don't go that much into. So I'm really excited to talk about this with Dr. Louise today. So let's learn a little bit about her. So Dr. Louise Swartswalter is a master transformational coach, speaker, naturopathic doctor, and pioneer in frequency medicine who helps entrepreneurs unlock their full brain soul power for greater success in business and life.
01:00
With over 30 years of experience and 50,000 plus transformations, she is the creator of the BRAIN Brain System and founder of the Brain Soul Success Academy on a mission to heal 10 million brains by 2025. Get ready for fast lasting breakthroughs from the inside out. Dr. Louise, thanks so much for joining me today. It's so awesome to be with you. Thank you, Evan. So let's kind of, let's start off
01:30
a little bit with your story. I know that you had chronic fatigue. So can you tell us a little bit about that and how you got over it? Yeah, absolutely. You know, I had a bunch of labels. Doctors didn't know. So chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, MS, they were all giving me these different labels. I was a young mom at home with two kids and I just really wanted to be their mom. And I was super sick. You know, I ended up on oxygen. So what had happened was I was, you know, had all that fatigue and I just wanted to take care of my kids. And then
01:59
I ended up sort of doctor hopping and that didn't work. So I ended up with a chiropractor and also my dentist. My dentist actually said, you know what, you have a car battery in your mouth. Let's take out all your mercury fillings and that's going to help you get well. And he did it all in one day. So that was not the right way to do something, especially when I already had such fatigue, you know, having to go to bed at three o'clock every afternoon and take naps, you know, not even be able to make dinner.
02:28
So Bruce was making dinner then. It was like, oh, it was just awful. And then when they were spraying for mosquitoes in my neighborhood, I ended up on oxygen. So pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, all that stuff would really affect me. We even moved from gas heat to electric heat, and slowly made like changes like that, just in quest to get healthy.
02:53
I became a pesticide activist. worked with the mayor of the state of Illinois. I started to see that not only were they affecting me, but they were causing the asthma in all the kids. And then my daughter had an accident at school, a door closed on her finger and she lost the tip of her finger. She was six. And it was after they were spraying the lawns for all the schools to make the grass look pretty and green with no dandelions, right? And so then we went.
03:21
to the school board and I ended up working with the schools then too, getting them to stop using chemicals on the wands and glues and stuff and carpeting. So I was just really, I mean, at that time, I have to tell you, Dr. Evan, I was just an angry housewife teacher person. I taught in that school district who was just like on a mission to make change. And I think it was a way for me to channel how angry I was at the whole situation.
03:51
So I was not like I am now at all. And so it was a journey though, because I know many of you listening, you're on that path too. How can I heal myself? And you're trying lots of different things. And I did the same and I ended up moving. I ended up moving from Chicago to Taos, New Mexico where there was no grass and they didn't spray for mosquitoes. So I just really wanted a clean environment, Adobe funky house.
04:20
I mean, that could be a whole nother hour show. Toby Funky House, but it was beautiful. It was a total different atmosphere from of course, Chicagoland suburbs. Here I am with a Pueblo style house with the roof leaks. We had to get that fixed. But we saw double rainbows every day when it rained in the afternoon and I felt like I had come to God's country.
04:45
Out here I healed. I'm in Albuquerque now, so eventually we moved to Albuquerque. But that was really my healing house. And I did a lot of spiritual work too. I prayed, we hiked. I remember like starting a grateful journal. And I didn't really understand all that I know now, but I was on the path of realizing that my physical body I could take care of by
05:10
eating right, taking my supplements, working with chiropractors on that and kinesiologists and different doctors that were helping me with the nutritional part, but I still didn't feel like me. I still felt off. I wasn't myself yet. And I kept seeking and asking that question. I just want to feel like me again. I slowly got energy back, but I also still had to regulate my body.
05:37
like one day inside, one day outside hiking, one day rest, one day. I still had to sort of do that. It was slow. It didn't happen overnight. So I guess I want to encourage everyone to be patient with themselves and to celebrate. When you have a good day, you want to celebrate that because what I was able to do, I even had seizures, but I never went to the hospital because I knew they'd give me drugs and I knew I couldn't take them. So I would say to myself,
06:04
This sucks, but tomorrow's gonna be a better day. You know, and I learned to always look at the positive. And I didn't realize that the training that I had when I was that sick was good mindset training. I can look back now and go, I guess that's where I learned it. Right. So that's a piece that's certainly a piece of the puzzle for sure. Yeah. And so then you went from so then how did you get better? So you obviously
06:33
You started learning more about the brain and can you tell us a little bit more about that? Yeah, you know, I, well, I said one day, said, you know what, I practically have all the experience. I mean, I had done everything from gluten, you know, I'd done the gluten free thing. You know, I was taking my supplements. It was on a pretty good protocol. I finally could take minerals and fish oil. couldn't even take those in the beginning. I was so sick. I was finally gaining weight. I was off the oxygen and
07:03
And what I knew was I still, like I said, didn't feel like myself. I didn't feel like me. And then I just started going to more classes and learning more about the emotional body, more about the spiritual body, things like even like breath work or drumming. I mean, I was in Taos, right? They were doing drumming, those kinds of things. So I started expanding my horizons a little bit. Saw an acupuncturist up there, also saw a chiropractor and...
07:31
and started learning all of those things. But it really wasn't until I started going to naturopathic school and then was introduced to biofeedback that I felt like I was really getting more of me back. So I think it was the year 2000, I got a biofeedback device and I started playing with it I was teaching dyslexics how to read, write and spell at the time. So I've always been interested in the brain. And at the same time I was going to naturopathic school.
07:59
And so I was able to see in the biofeedback device, different things that would come up, like someone's adrenals were tanked. I could see that in my device. And then I was learning about it in my classwork. So I was able to apply all of that. So it was just a great learning. was really, you know, I felt blessed to be doing that. And honestly, those kids that I worked with, were my, they were my experiment. So I was teaching kids who were, you know, needed, you know, dyslexic therapy.
08:29
A lot of them were dyslexic and ADHD. And I put them all on the biofeedback device and I watched their brains change and they were processing better and they were remembering things better and the behavior was better. And one little guy who was almost autistic, his social skills changed. And so I started to see the power of that. And so I worked on myself with that and that helped me get healthy enough to finally open an office.
08:59
And so I opened Albuquerque Natural Health Center. That was my first business. And I was just so excited to work. Like I was sick for so long to be able to really serve again. I'm a teacher person, right? It was such a gift to do that, but I still wasn't all the way better yet. Like I still was questing, you know, on that personal growth path. And so then I started learning energy work and I was like, wow, this is really cool. This is taking me to a whole nother level.
09:28
And then I would actually experiment with my patients, you know, and I'd learn something new and I'd add it into whatever we were doing, you know. So I combined naturopathy with biofeedback, with NLP, with trauma release work that I was learning, with all the energy work and started to see that people actually came back and it stuck. So instead of always getting like just a little bit better and sort of feeling like we were fixing something,
09:57
I was empowering them by teaching them tools and I was learning enough that I could combine all these modalities together. And that's really how the brain system came to be. It was a massive experiment in life, in healing, honestly. Yeah. Excellent. And so can you define biofeedback for us, for those who aren't familiar?
10:22
Yeah, absolutely. so biofeedback, traditional biofeedback would be putting a sensor on the finger, like a hospital would do this, and they would teach you to regulate your nervous system for maybe breathing or feeling things like warm and cold. That's not what I'm speaking about. Biofeedback that I have is more like energy work. It's bio resonance. It's actually frequency. Um, so I was one of the pioneers in frequency medicine.
10:50
So frequency medicine is sending frequency, either sound frequency, I guess you could do it with light too, but sound frequency, and just the information. So if the information is, I feel healthy and balanced and I have energy again, I can actually send that information to you long distance with your name, your birthday, and your place of birth.
11:16
So I'm sending bio resonance type frequency from a computer program. And I got obsessed with this, like really obsessed. Like I kept buying the next new one. So, you know, I could have like five Porsches, but I was like, no, I'm buying this man. I would just get the next new thing. I was like, okay. So I have five different programs and many of my friends sell the old one when they get the new one. I didn't do that. I have like,
11:44
nine computers all over my house. Okay. So I work on people long distance if they get sick or especially during COVID when they were in the hospital, I could get people out of the hospital. I'm just using frequency, you know, for its energy work. So we have to say, Hey, there's no medical claims here. can't make medical claims or anything like that. It's energy. And yet what I learned is energy does help people a lot and a lot more than we even think. Yeah.
12:14
And so for people who are skeptics who don't understand what energy is, can you kind of give a practical way for us to understand like how we have energy bodies and how we're interacting with it? That's a great question. Yeah, so we are energy bodies. You are an energy being first. And so everything resonates at a frequency. Everything is energy. Okay. Even words are energy, you know, so the energy of love, if I say, love you,
12:43
is way different than I hate you. It has an energy, right? So words have energy, your body resonates at a frequency, every cell resonates at a different frequency, water has a frequency, the stapler has, everything has like an energy or a frequency about it. And as energy beings, you actually have an energetic field that they have measured that goes all the way out around your body.
13:12
You know, so there's curl in photography that can see pictures around your body. And so where you can measure energy too. Think of it as instead of an EKG measuring your heart, you know, or, you know, the brainwave measurements, we can actually see and measure energy. And some people actually can actually see colors, meaning they're seeing different colors of the chakras or your aura, they call it.
13:41
So I actually think as energy beings, we are connected to everything around us and our energy field goes all the way out to the stars, to the moon, to the sun, like it's huge.
13:55
You your DNA is actually a photon light. DNA is light. You know, so our cells and everything, if you really think of it, we're our 99 % energy and 1 % matter.
14:12
Yeah, it's really amazing. know, and there was there was actually something that I saw this week. There was in the news there was a Dr. Dan Oblak, a physicist who who found that humans emit a faint light. And so and so they confirmed this that indeed all living things. I'm kind of reading some of the article and then a faint ultra weak light known as ultra weak photon emission or bio photon emission. The light is not visible to the naked eye.
14:42
being between a thousand and a million times dimmer than what humans can perceive, but it can be detected with highly sensitive scientific instruments. So this is not just theory, this is reality. And that light does get extinguished when somebody dies. Oh, that's interesting. I love all that research. Thank you for that. Yeah, I love all that research. Yeah, so you know, so I've been playing with energy and I learned these amazing codes that my teacher got.
15:11
from the Bible. And I don't know how she got them, but I know that she knew the Bible both as a physics book and as a spiritual book. And the codes clear energy seven generations back and seven forward. And I didn't understand that either when I first heard it. In fact, I was very skeptical too, Dr. Evan, but I took the class and it was a weekend class and I learned these codes and I watched them clear trauma very quickly from
15:41
a woman who had had an accident and her face completely changed. And I went, how do they do that with those codes? That's weird. That was my first thought. And so I get it. If people are skeptical, I was too, right? And what I realized was they were actually clearing the trauma and it shifted the person very quickly. So, I mean, I signed up, I took the next big, long weekend class and then I, know, 10 years later, I was still learning.
16:11
learning that work and using it now with people to clear pain very quickly, to clear trauma quickly, to clear things that are in the energy field. Because what I found was, yes, we're physical bodies, but you have a emotional body, a spiritual body, and you have an energy body. And when you start in the energy field, even the energy brain we'll talk about, when we start in the energy field and work there, a lot of times physical pain will go away.
16:40
Now, not in every case. If someone really broke their arm, they still need the cast, they still need to be in it, but we certainly can speed healing up.
16:50
Yeah. Yeah. And I think, you know, oftentimes there's a number of different ways that we try to get at trauma. You know, we talk about the, um, the top down approach. So by using mindset, you know, the way that we think in order to be able to change our nervous system. And then there's the bottom up approach, which is the somatics, like changing the way that we're breathing or doing different polyvagal techniques in order to be able to change the nervous system. And so this is another technique, you know, to
17:19
to work from an energetic perspective, an emotional perspective, a spiritual perspective to end up changing the nervous system. Is that accurate to say? Yeah, that is accurate to say. In fact, so this work, what I learned about this work is we're actually balancing, you have rings around your brain. So think of your brain as the middle of an atom, the nucleus of the atom with the rings around it. If you picture an atom picture that you might have seen like in a science book, your brain is like that.
17:49
So you have the middle of your brain and then you have rings around, they're capacitor rings. And if they're off balance, you'll be off balance. So when I've worked on like right brain, left brain balance for people, and there's a way to put those in balance using these codes, they suddenly can think better, they're clearer, the brain fog goes away and they're kind of shocked at first because how did that work, right? But it doesn't matter how it works, it matters that it does.
18:17
Then the other thing that's really cool about this work is it actually clears seven generations back and seven forward. And again, I didn't understand that at first, except that when I went to the big long weekend class, my kids were teenagers and I came home and I'm like, why are the kids so different? What happened while mom was gone? It took me a while to realize that I changed me. And so it changed the reaction I had with them.
18:45
And they changed it as a result too. And then my daughter's like, I'm, she's real sensitive. She'd be like, mom, are you doing a class this weekend? You know, this thing happened to me. Like, what are you working on? Cause I'm feeling it. Right. So that's how much everything is energy. Nice. Yeah. You know, we talk about be the change that you want to see in the world, right? Wasn't that Gandhi, I think. Um, but yeah, oftentimes and in relationship, you know, in, counseling,
19:13
If you want to change your partner, what do they talk about? You change yourself. Right. That's really the only way. That's really brilliant. So let's talk about your five step system that you use. Is that the brain system? That's the brain system. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I love me. So how I came about this was the story that I just told you. Right. I figured out that we're physical, mental, emotional, spiritual beings, and we got to work on all together. And what I mean by all together is this.
19:42
is if you're not using a multi-sensory approach and you're just changing your diet and doing physical body things, you may not get to the result you want because we're multi-dimensional beings. And so I started to see with myself and all the people I work with that if I worked on their physical body, so B in brain is body. And that's everything you and I are talking about, everything you do with giving the right supplements, testing people, sleep.
20:10
you know, exercise, all the lifestyle things. And then R is releasing. And so it's releasing the mental chatter, the trauma, the emotional baggage. And I see trauma as it getting stuck in the spaces of the brain. So Dr. Hamer did that work. He's a German doctor that worked with cancer patients. And his son was shot and killed at 17 years old. And he got testicular cancer three months later.
20:38
And he said to himself, I was healthy before it must be the trauma of losing my son. And the cool thing that he did that I like, I love the brain is he took pictures of his brain, worked on clearing trauma and then took another picture and the lesion that was in the first picture, the little lesion in the brain was gone. So he actually did this testing of this, right? So that's what I do is I clear those lesions.
21:06
So it's the trauma that causes a lesion in the brain, or I call it a little cellular memory bump. And I'm not doing those spec scans, but I know this to be true because we've even worked with people with brain tumors. And again, I can't make any medical claims here, but after doing that energy work in a combination approach using, so I did have a woman who had both chemotherapy and we're doing the energy work and those are gone.
21:35
The 12 tumors are gone.
21:39
You know, so yeah, so we don't, it doesn't matter how you get rid of them. Let's get you healthy. Right. You know, um, so that, that's really what we, we want to do. So ours releasing and there's about 10 different kinds of techniques to release trauma and emotional baggage. And then a is aligned with spirit. So spirit, whatever you believe it's not religious. It's, it's God, the divine, the universe, your belief system.
22:08
Right? We have to have that trust in that faith to heal. And then I is integrate your brain frequencies to your soul's true purpose. I'm going to guess you probably see this too. Um, Evan, don't you see that when people don't have a purpose or like a direction in their life, like it's harder to heal. is. Yeah. Yeah. So always see that too. So it's like finding that for them, helping them find that. So, so
22:36
I is integrating your brain frequencies to your soul's true purpose and N is the new program. So, and this is missed a lot in health and healing and even energy work. There's a lot of tools that will take things out, but the new program is like rewiring your brain with these codes or with other tools that are for how you want to show up in the world now. What do you want to be doing in your life for your business?
23:04
And I think that's super important. And that's what I use some of those energy codes, those success codes for.
23:12
Yeah. And when you do all the steps together, we actually take before and after pictures because people look like they lost all the stress and they have, they had a facelift. It's the coolest thing. really is nice. how long does it take for somebody to go through this sort of transformation? It depends on what it is and how much they want, you know, a lot of times they can do something can happen within 40 minutes, you know, an hour, we can release a layer. think of it as layers.
23:42
You know, so like if somebody's really sick, they're going to have more layers of the onion to peel, you know, and if they've had something like chronic fatigue or long COVID and they've had it for four or five years, I don't know. My belief is you got to give yourself a year, right? To really change your, you know, change your diet, your physical body, you know, your mindset, but also balancing the vagus nerve, clearing the traumas, rebooting your brain and your entire energy field.
24:11
So if you're really sick, you wanna give it that long. But I've had a lot of people within three months, even with traumatic brain injury. And in three months, it's a much, much better way improved, almost gone. Because it depends on the person, but it's because we're doing a multi-sensory, multi-dimensional approach.
24:35
Excellent. Yeah. And so, and then how are you working with people these days? Are you doing one-on-ones? Are you doing groups? I like groups. have a whole group program where I'm teaching this and I always think of it this way. There's a different energy between going to a practitioner and getting fixed, going to an acupuncturist and getting acupuncture, not that you shouldn't do, that's awesome stuff, right? But it's like fixing something.
25:05
But if you teach it and you give people the tools, now they have the tools to work on themselves. So I really like the group energy. really does, you know, catapult people forward. I do work with some people personally too. But I, I love that part because it empowers their life. Like it's hugely transformational. Excellent. And so then how do you, how do you help everybody who's in the group?
25:34
Are you doing when you're sending out those codes based on their name and their birthday, et cetera? Or how does that work? Yeah, no, I'm doing lots of things. So we would meet. So in the group programs, we meet. Like right now, I'm in an abundance program, and we meet every Wednesday night. So we meet on Zoom. At the same time, I'm sending frequency to all of them. And so it reaches them by their name, their birthday, their place of birth.
26:03
How that works is think of a text message. How come I can send a text message to you and it ends up on your phone and not your wife's? Isn't that magical? Like how does that happen? Right? Yeah. Right. I mean, it's your number, right? It's your unique number. Everything is numbers. Numbers have an energy or a frequency. You know, so do words. You can reprogram the brain with words too, with prayer.
26:32
Right? And mantras. And so we know this. We've been doing this for centuries. Right? But the text messaging, how long has that been on the planet? I don't know. 10, 20 years? Maybe not. Even that. Right? So but yes, so I can send frequency long distance. And so that's how that part works. And then I teach the tools in the classes. And then I'm able to clear group energy too. I tune into the whole group.
27:01
And what I didn't know about this work is that I could teach the intuitive part of it. I'm like a medical intuitive. I can go into the field and see things and pull out what happened at age six, what happened at age 13, what happened with great, great grandfather, you know? And I'll just intuitively figure that out and clear that energy. And I didn't know that I was able to teach that. And I have been now for 10 years.
27:29
so people know and can do the same thing, they can do the same thing I do. Brilliant. Intuition is so important to cultivate. So it's really special that you're able to offer that to the people who are taking from you. That's really great. That's really great. It's fun. Yeah. I think it's fun. I mean, I'm really passionate about this and I...
27:54
I just like to see people have a tool bag so they can navigate their lives differently and not have to struggle. these practitioner training programs, are they, when you say that you're teaching people the tools, is it a certification program or what does that look like? Yeah, I have a whole year long program and the first year is like getting healthy yourself. So it's learning the tools so you can work on yourself and your family.
28:22
And then the second year is a certification program. So you can really practice, learn the tools and be able to work with people in your, in your business, in your practice, you know, um, in your, in make money with it, like you're doing it. Yeah. Great. And that certification program, like a health coaching.
28:42
program or is it a... Yeah, call it brain, soul, success coaching. So I have a whole like sort of licensure agreement and I had to go through getting all that together. I have to do all that stuff. So I had to get all that stuff together and make it, I guess what I want to say, make it right, make it legit, whatever you want to call it. But it's amazing because when I think of my coaches right now, I mean, they totally can do this too. So they can do everything I can do.
29:10
And it's funny because I really wanted to clone myself years ago and I'm doing it. I'm doing it, Dr. Evan. And it's not AI. It's different. That's brilliant. Well, it's a really great gift that you're giving in this coaching program, it sounds like. So in terms of just with the last couple of minutes we have left, in terms of practical stuff that
29:36
You can share with folks moving forward. Do you wanna talk about some of the brain hacks or is there anything else that you feel like would be good to lead people with? Yes, absolutely. I wanna teach people some mind jumps. So mind jumps is a great little brain hack that starts to balance the rings around the brain. And they take five minutes to do and I do them every morning and every night. And so I always encourage people to get a morning routine and an evening routine, like a bedtime routine.
30:03
And it could just be, you your prayer, your stretching, you, you know, you take your vitamins in the morning, whatever your little routine is, but adding these in can really be helpful. And so they're just handheld positions on the body. Okay. And we have four year olds doing this. Okay. So kids doing these through school, their focus is going to get better. Their clarity will be better. It's a great thing to do before you go on a podcast and interview too. And so it's balancing the rings around the brain.
30:32
And so one of them is just putting one hand on your right hand on your left shoulder, your left hand on your right shoulder. And this balance is polarity in the body. So it's balancing yin and yang, right and left, polarity. And you hold it for 12 seconds and then you switch. So now my other arm is gonna go on top.
30:57
So this one balances polarity. It's one of the mind gems. So I'll give you the link for this so you can share it with everyone. Then another one that clears trauma is we cone our fingers. So we make like little wands with your fingers and your thumbs together. And you do the right hand on the left side over the soft spot in your head and then the right on the left. And this clears trauma or whatever has traumatized you.
31:25
So while you're doing these, again, I usually just like sort of meditate and breathe while I'm doing these and say my intentions for the day and the morning. And then we switch this one as well. So the other hand goes on top.
31:42
So that will begin to clear again trauma that's been stuck in your energy field, in your body.
31:53
And then let's clear shock and anxiety. That's a good one too. So this one will clear shock and anxiety. So again, we cone our fingers and it's on either side of this thymus gland, which is your immune system gland right here in the middle of your neck, right below the notch. And so it's one hand on one side, one on the other, and they're pretty close in. If you went a little farther out, you'd be in K2, kidney two acupuncture points. And this clears shock and anxiety, and you can do this anytime you need to.
32:22
There's 12, I do them all together, but if you needed to pull this out because you were in shock or anxious about something, you totally could and just do one of these. Okay, and then we're gonna switch that one as well.
32:40
So people always feel more relaxed after these, lighter, a little more clear, a little more focused. So it can help brain fog. So for all those long COVID, know, chronic fatigue, people start the mind jumps. They're so easy to do. So that's just three of them. Yeah. Brilliant. Yeah, so that's a great little, that's a great little, a great little hack.
33:07
Right. Because it doesn't take very long. And again, kids can do that too. No. So teach your kids, my grandson is one year old and I'm already doing it with him. So good, mom. How did he sleep so good? So yeah, that's really fun. So that's a great little brain hack. And then I'm going to actually teach some of the codes, which takes a little longer.
33:34
I don't know when this is going to air, but I'll teach these codes coming up June 18th. I don't know if this is going to go before then or not. Yeah, this will go before then. This will be next week. Oh, this will be next week. Awesome. Okay. So June 18th, I'm going to do like a whole half day where you can learn a lot of the success codes. We're calling it the success codes, breakthrough brain secrets. So we can start rewiring and you can learn these codes yourself.
33:59
and start rewiring your own energetic field and brain for the success, whatever it is you want in your life, you know, or if you're a business owner in your business. Excellent. And I think one of the really powerful things that you do is you're really empowering people. You're giving people tools that they can do on the regular to get themselves better. Yes. Yes. You know, it's because I wanted that. Right.
34:25
Right, I was so sick. somebody had taught me some things, I'd have been so completely grateful. Right. You know? So I think we all need to do that. And even if you have hacks, I know you do too. You're brilliant. And you're breathing, all the stuff that you do. And you share that with your people, it's going to empower them too.
34:48
Absolutely. Yeah. People just need to implement. Right. Yes, it is. It's just being consistent. It's like anything else. You know, two of my mentors, both Dorothy, who taught me the codes, okay, some of the codes and Hannah Kroger, who was the grandmother of natural health, they were incredibly disciplined. Okay. They didn't have a TV. Hannah was always, and Hannah didn't have the internet. So in the 1950s, when she wanted answers to health questions,
35:18
she would write a letter to a doctor and put a $10 bill in it to get the answer back. That's how she did her research. So when you think about, know, what we have available today, it's mind blowing. And, you know, there really is no excuse. Do the work. If you want to heal yourself, do the work and you'll get there. Don't do the work and you won't get there. Right. And that's the hardest thing for people.
35:47
You know, is that they say that they want to, but they don't really want to. They're not willing to, you know, and it's all hard. It's kind of, hard being sick and it's hard getting better and you get to choose which hard you want to do. Oh, I like that. Choose which hard you want to do. Absolutely. You know, and so God helps those who help themselves. Right. So if you put the energy and time into it, it's just like watering a garden. If you water your plants, they're going to grow. And then when you say that to me, what I want to jump into right away is clear self-sabotage.
36:17
Right. go, okay, there we go. Self-sabotage again. You don't need to sabotage yourself eating those ho-hos and those Twinkies. Let's clear that energy. Right? Right. Yeah. And clear that out of the way so you don't have to sabotage yourself. So you can really take action, you know? And I know when you don't feel good, cause I was there too, it's hard to do that because you're feeling so yucky that one little action step feels like it's a lot.
36:46
Right. You know, and all you have to do is do one little step and then pat yourself on the back because when you teach the brain, so this is another brain hack. When you teach the brain to win, it looks for more wins. So it really is your own self talk about saying, Oh, I did good. Good job. Good job, Louise. Good job, Evan. Right. You have to say that to yourself and then, and then you'll get the next, then you'll, you'll start creating an energy pattern of getting more wins.
37:16
That analogy would be an athlete, right? An athlete who is a runner. They want to beat their time. And so they beat their time for the one minute mile. And now they, they celebrate themselves. I did it. Yay. Good job. Right now they're going to beat that time. You know, again, so because the brain now knows they won, it can succeed again.
37:40
No, it's like gratitudes, right? Once you start thinking about gratitudes and expressing gratitudes, all of a sudden the brain starts looking for more gratitudes every single day. Exactly. Exactly. That's you reprogram it. And that's how you reprogram it. And yes, it takes some, you you have to do the effort. Right. You got to do the effort if you really want to get well. And then you might see this too. There may be people who don't want to say they want to get well and aren't getting there.
38:10
because they're getting some kind of benefit from being sick.
38:17
Right. And that's hard to look at, you know, for a lot of folks, you know, that there is a second game there. Yes, there's a secondary game there. And so play with that or listen to if you're listening to this podcast, you know, listen to yourself with that one. Ask yourself good questions. The question is more important than the answer, because once you ask the question, it means you already know the answer, but you're in being introspective with it. That's good. Right.
38:44
So you're actually getting some information just by asking the question. And I always talk to myself all day long. Like, don't know if you too, but I do ask myself questions all day long subconsciously. I don't even realize it. Sometimes I do it all loud, but yeah. Yeah. The more, the more of the, uh, the more mindful I have become over the years, the more questions I ask myself.
39:10
And it's part of my mindset practice at this point is to ask myself an empowering question or two every single day. so oftentimes, you know, when people come to see us, they're asking themselves questions like, um, you know, why am I so sick or why can't I get better? And unfortunately that doesn't serve them, right? It's not an empowering question, but how can I love myself more today? Yeah. it puts in some of that NLP as well. Right. And so it's like, yeah, there are, you know, if
39:38
Asking yourself empowering questions actually gives your brain an opportunity to find answers that are going to serve you. Yes, that's beautiful question. I love that. Do you have any favorite questions you'd like to ask yourself?
39:54
I don't know. mean, how can I be more focused today? How can I serve my people at a higher level?
40:05
You know, so always serving more. And then I actually do write out my intentions in the morning. So I do an NLP goal setting process. How's that going to make you feel? What would you tell yourself? You know, I ask those questions. You know, how will I feel if I do that today? You know, what would I tell myself about that? You know, and so I have a goal or intention and then I ask those questions and I write it out. It just literally takes, you know, five minutes.
40:33
And then I cleared the energy on anything that's blocking it. And I'm like, is there anything blocking me succeeding in these goals or these intentions today? It's like, oh yeah, I have a client in my field from yesterday. Let me clear that. know, oh, wow, that's that situation that happened last week. Wow, that's still hanging out. That's still hanging out in my field. And then I clear that. And then I rewire using those success codes. So I'm rewiring my brain, my energy field with those codes.
41:02
And then it's like it completely shifted me into a whole nother place. And now I'm 100 % my soul's true so I can show up fully that day.
41:13
That's part of my morning process with Mind Gems. So important to have a morning practice. Yes. Yes. We all need a morning practice and an evening practice. And you can't say, I'm too tired. Sorry, you have to do it. Make it simple for yourself, but get one. Yeah. Yeah. I tell people that sometimes, you know, if you're so tired, you can't even think of a gratitude. Just say, thank you.
41:41
until you feel the energy of that word, right? It's kind of like the whole pono pono, right? You know, like words, as you're talking about, words have frequency and they have power and you can feel them in your body. it's so much, you know, we're talking about mindset, we're talking about things that writing down and things to say, but it's all about how it changes the way that you feel. You know, if you can feel those things, that's really where the transformation comes. Would you agree?
42:09
Absolutely. Cause feelings, Trump thoughts, it's how you feel. It's those emotions, right? And words have energy and power. When I interviewed Dr. Greg Braden for my podcast, it was about his book called the wisdom codes. And I love, mean, codes. was like, wisdom codes. got to interview him. This is awesome. And I got the book and it's all it's prayer. It's prayer and mantras. And of course he's done the research into
42:38
you sort of the spirituality of thing and the Dead Sea Scrolls and all that kind of stuff. So he's done an amazing research on this. And, uh, and he shared with me that he says the beauty prayer every day for 30 years. It's the Navajo beauty prayer. I don't know the whole thing, but it's very short, it's in beauty. walk beauty. I talk beauty surrounds me in beauty and beauty. I love, mean, it's just different phrases like that. And, um, and he says it every day for 30 years. He's literally rewiring his brain with the
43:08
power of those words. It's brilliant. Yeah. Well, Louise, I could talk to you forever, you should probably adjourn. we have your links that we're going to drop below. And then we've got on your website, we've got the link to the Mind Gems, it looks like. And then there's also another link that we have to the Brain-Soul Assessment.
43:38
Yes. Yes. So the assessment is just an opportunity to talk with myself or a team coach about what some of your blocks are, maybe what your traumas are and what you can do about it. You know, what's your next best move. So that's what the assessment is. So we'll help you get clear on that. Excellent. Yeah.
44:00
Okay, great. So we're going to drop those links below. Everybody, please click on them and go check out all the wonderful things that Dr. Louise is doing. Thanks so much for coming on today. I so appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us and expanding our minds. That's so good to be with you. It's so good to be with you. And thank you so much for having me.
